Institute for Statistics and Mathematics
Part-time, 15 hours/week
Starting October 01, 2026, and limited until July 31, 2027

Please note that pursuant to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, only students who have not yet completed a master or diploma degree program can be employed.

What to expect

Teaching assistance for the courses Probability and Mathematical Finance: holding weekly tutorials, revising assignments, and support in teaching-related tasks

What you have to offer

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Business Mathematics) and currently enrolled in the Quantitative Finance master’s program at WU
  • Excellent command of probability, mathematics, statistics or mathematical finance demonstrated for instance by good grades in the relevant courses
  • Teaching experience (e.g. as a tutor) is an advantage
  • Excellent command of English
  • Experience with R and LaTeX
